In 2009 FWAG celebrated its 40th anniversary of advising farmers on the integration of commercial farming practices with the conservation of wildlife. From small beginnings we now have over 80 professional Farm Conservation Advisers based all over the UK and make over 6,000 visits to farmers each year. Since the inception of environmental stewardship we have been successful in securing £189 million worth of funding for the farming community to undertake environmental improvements.
